Selective Eating Disorder (SED) and Avoidant Restrictive
Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) are different to
Anorexia and Bulimia.
They are predominantly phobic reactions or aversions to food,
where even if the sufferer was starving, their brain would not
allow them to bring the food to their mouth or swallow it,
as it is considered ’non-safe’ by their mind and body.
Specialist Hypnotherapy have designed a program that has
been successful with over 2,500 clients - typically with the
client calmly trying some, or all of their non-safe foods
by the end of the first session.
Pressure is a good thing that often keeps us motivated. But if not managed properly, pressure can often lead to extreme stress
and anxiety, which may then cause future illness and
